SpilMax® Absorbent Floating Marine Booms will absorb a wide variety of plant and seed oils, hydrocarbons, petrochemicals and petroleum-based solvents. These large floating booms are hydrophobic and repel water. They are intended for use in waterways to contain and absorb spills. Manufactured with UV resistant tough spun bonded outer mesh encasing a polypropylene particulate. Each boom features snap hooks for easy connection of multiple booms. A nylon rope runs the full length of the boom which adds strength and ensures ease of retrieval. Even when fully saturated, these durable booms will float on water. The SpilMax® range of absorbents have undergone extensive testing to ensure their absorbency and performance.
